The Ellwood House is a Victorian-styled mansion built in 1879 by barbed-wire millionaire Isaac L. Ellwood. A three-story spiral staircase is a focal point in the home. The Gruler House was built in 1857 and was inhabited by its famous residents in 1893 until the late 1970s. The Grulers were best known for their improvements in the dairy industry, with regards to testing, cleanliness and efficiency. The house in now cared for by the Gruler Heritage Association.
